Graphic Design and Key Operator

Job Description:

Are you passionate about graphic design and the printing industry? We are seeking a creative individual to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting customers with their design needs, while also supporting various printing and bindery tasks. Some experience is preferred, but we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Utilize design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit client files, craft compelling visual elements, and produce print-ready documents

Collaborate closely with customers to understand their design requirements, offer creative suggestions, and bring their visions to life

Perform basic typesetting, layout design, and image manipulation to ensure high-quality print products

Assist customers with inquiries, orders, and provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone

Operate digital printing presses, bindery equipment (cutters, folders, creasers, binding machines), and other machinery as needed

Ensure quality control by proofing and inspecting finished products before delivery

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

Proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Some experience operating bindery equipment preferred

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

Work Schedule: Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
