What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Alpine Commerce?
We are an e-commerce company looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage our warehouse operations. In this role, you will manage a small team of warehouse associates and be responsible for receiving and storing inventory, prepping/packing/shipping orders, and continually improving processes and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of inventory.
- Receive and oversee tracking of all incoming inventory
- Receive and oversee tracking of all incoming freight deliveries: UPS, FedEx, and LTL
- Route, schedule, and prepare orders for delivery
- Organize and maintain warehouse appearance and functionality
- Establish warehouse standards and procedures.
- Maintain staff by managing and training warehouse employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Operate forklift as necessary.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years prior warehouse experience required; 2-5 years management experience required.
- HS degree or GED required
- Forklift experience required (certification/training required)
- Capable of lifting heavy boxes up to 50lbs
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships is important
- Ability to learn new software
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
