We are looking for candidates that have a positive attitude and are willing to work in a team environment. The position is Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm. Experience is not required - we are willing to train!!
JOB SUMMARY: Performs inspection, washing, and drying of all knit liners and socks to meet quality standards
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Responsible for the 1st article inspection on socks and liners
- Inspection, washing, and drying of knit liners and socks
- Track and record all quality data and communicate defects to lead
- Responsible for keeping work areas clean and organized at all times
- Assists with scheduling liners to be processed and inspected
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed: logo, inspection, encapsulation, etc.
- Mandatory participation in annual inventory as needed
- Other projects and duties as assigned
MENTAL & PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Read, interpret, and follow safety rules and procedures in accordance to Alps Quality Policy
- Near acuity and hand/eye coordination required for proper packaging
- Able to hear in a production setting; machinery, loud noises, etc.
- Vision requirements include reading written documents and using a computer monitor screen frequently
- The position is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, touch, see, and hear, and may be required to lift or move up to 35 pounds
- The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
