About the role:

 

The Scrum-Lead Developer is responsible for leading and facilitating Agile Scrum practices within the development team. This position will ensure adherence to Scrum principles and guide cross-functional collaboration to deliver projects in an effective and timely manner. The Scrum-Lead Developer also plays a crucial role in software development, specifically in developing applications, maintaining best practices, and ensuring that the development process aligns with the goals and objectives of the organization

 

  • Software Development:
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions based on system and user requirements.
  • Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot software applications.
  • Engage in code reviews to ensure system and software quality.
  • Scrum Leadership:
  • Facilitate the planning and organization of tasks, aligning them with the project roadmap and sprint goals.
  • Collaborate with product owners and team members to define clear objectives, prioritize tasks, and manage the product backlog effectively.
  • Drive the execution of development plans, focusing on optimizing workflows and ensuring timely delivery of features.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with product owners to define user stories and set priorities.
  • Lead by example in a hands-on role to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Enhance team dynamics and performance through effective team building and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Project Management:
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet predefined quality standards.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress against goals.
  • Manage stakeholder communication across functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background and proven experience as a software developer and Scrum Master.
  • Proficient in C#/.NET. Knowledge of WinForms and WPF.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is an asset.

 

Physical Demands:

 

  • Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks such as keyboarding.
  • Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.
