Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement for medical services. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues
- Collaborate with the billing team to improve billing processes and efficiency
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10), and medical billing procedures
- Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance plans
- Experience with medical collections and resolving billing disputes
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
