Could you be the full-time onsite Industrial Quality Technician in Plattsburgh, NY, US we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your meticulous and systematic expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and skilled teammates. You'll ensure the highest standards of quality in train assemblies, impacting the reliability and safety of our products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service), conduct detailed inspections and audits, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
Conducting detailed root cause analysis for any non-conformities found,
Participating in product inspections, including customer joint inspections when applicable,
Managing problem-solving initiatives to ensure quality standards are met,
Collaborating closely with the EPU manager to facilitate Position Quality Animation,
Supporting manufacturing teams by providing training and audits related to self-inspection and control delegation,
Performing first characterization and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for products that do not comply with standards,
Maintaining a continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest quality control techniques and industry standards

Minimum Associate Degree in Mechanical, Welding, Electrical, or a related Technology Course.,
Experience or understanding of quality processes in an industrial setting.,

Ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organization.

Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000
