Objective
The V&V Tehcnician will be responsible for the building, testing, and maintenace of the System Integration Platforms. They will have experience with hardware and software integration, test method validations and process validations.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Experienced in Hardware and Software integration and test
- Ensure that all the requirements for the Signaling Test Platforma and System tools, as defined in the specifications are allocated to test procedures
- Execution of the test procedures in in the laboratory, factory, and/or field environment, proficient with integration and troubleshooting multi-subsystem test platforms
- Generatation for test reports, proficient MS office applications,
- Ensure test platforms and tools are fully functionaland maintained under configuration control.
- Supports product testing (via various means) to provide correct implementation of the Signaling requirements: functional requirements and safety requirements
- Peform other related duties as assigned
Educational Requirements
- AS Degree in Engineering or related engineering discipline
Experience
- At least 2- 5 years of experience working with signaling systems preferred
Working Conditions (Industrial/Environmental)
- Work in a laboratory or factory environment.
- Travel up to 20% as needed to support field, factory, and multi-site lab activities.
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Ability to carry and lift to 40 lbs.
