POSITION SUMMARY:
The Relocation Payroll Tax Analyst is the liaison between Global Financial Services and client HR/Payroll. Relocation Payroll Tax Analysts are responsible for accurate reporting of global mobility benefits in compliance with the Internal Revenue Service. This includes calculating, documenting, reporting and communicating with customers, clients, management, vendors and internal partners to accurately “gross up” and/or tax treat the wages as related to relocation expenses.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize understanding of payroll, relocation and accounting to impute relocation expenses into income timely and correctly reducing risk of payroll errors and W2c’s.
Collaborate with client payroll/HR and internal partners to send/receive payroll files via assigned document exchange process.
EDUCATION:
Minimum High School Degree, Bachelor Degree preferred or
Equivalent combination of experience, skills, training and education
TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL INTELLECTUAL FUNCTIONS:
The Relocation Payroll Tax Analyst must have general knowledge of the relocation process as it pertains to policy interpretation and application and payroll processing procedures, must be knowledgeable of current relocation and payroll tax laws and regulations, adept with analyzing costs, must be able to multi-task, build client trust through relationship management, manage to deadlines, rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals, work collaboratively with colleagues, assignees/transferees, clients and service partners pertinent to execution and achievement of individual and team goals.
