Altamira has an open position for a highly qualified and talented Director of Contracts and Pricing, with proven record and performance in the U.S. Government contracting role at our Dayton, Ohio location.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Government and Commercial contracts & pricing management, throughout the contract lifecycle, including:
- Negotiation of various contractual agreements and instruments with customers, teaming partners and vendors, such as prime contracts, subcontract agreements, pricing, Teaming Agreements and Nondisclosure Agreements,
- Leading the proposal cost volume preparation, compliance, rate negotiations, profitability analyses, risk mitigation, subcontract management, purchasing, and contract closeouts,
- Supporting proposal preparations in response to government solicitations, such as IDIQs, Task Orders, BAAs, GSA Schedules, etc.
- Support audits of Company systems, processes, and schedules, as required,
- Work closely with Program Management and Operations, Business Development & Capture teams, Proposal teams, Finance and Accounting and other functions to achieve the desired results
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Master's degree and/or professional certification is preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in government contracts management, subcontracts management and pricing; at least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance; existing clearance is highly desirable
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Results driven, proven track record of successfully managing priorities and contractual matters
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook)
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- High energy, enthusiasm, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Other desired skills:
- General knowledge of Deltek software, including the Contracts module
- Knowledge and prior use of Costpoint, GovWin, CRM (Salesforce), is helpful in this position, but not required
