Altamira is searching for an OPIR In-depth Analyst in the Dayton, Ohio area, to support:
- PIR Technical Intelligence (TI) & Movers Analysis
- PIR Battlespace Awareness (BA) Analysis
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides in-depth analytical support to the customer in the areas of rapid scripting, process improvement, technique discovery, data validation
- Provide engineering and scientific support on our prime contract to produce and deliver results related to OPIR analytical efforts
- Support Ops analysts, R&D Teams and Government Flight leadership in developing scripts and toolsets to automate, optimize, and streamline current OPIR processes
- Recognizing and analyzing anomalous activity and providing resolution and mitigation support
- Support research, discovery, development, and prototyping of data extraction, data processing, and/or analysis techniques
- Communicates and collaborates with Government leadership and OPIR analysts on a daily basis to ensure any/all processing and exploitation issues are resolved in a prioritized and timely fashion.
- Conduct statistical analysis, modeling, and simulation that lead to actionable decisions affecting government operations
- Enhance existing data projects in the application of remote sensing technology to solve intelligence issues
- Support the resolution of highly complex, technical problems and provide advice and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or other related technical field
- Proficient with software scripting languages, to include: Matlab, Python, and/or IDL
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (will consider Secret Collateral on case-by-case basis)
- Prefer 2 years of engineering/scientific application experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of remote sensing principals and applications
This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartment Information (TS/SCI). Due to the nature of this work, we are unable to consider applicants who do not hold this level of clearance.
