As a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner, you will be under the guidance of the VP of Clinical Operations and responsible for overseeing facility maintenance through education, growth, and accountability. Your role will also involve serving as a liaison between Senior Care Communities, Leadership, and Clinical Team members to support and facilitate care in both new and established markets.

What are the must haves (aka minimum requirements)

  • Current and valid NP licensure in the state where this position is located 
    • This position crosses state lines and requires dual NP licensure in the following state combinations:
      • MO & KS
  • Access to insured reliable transportation
  • 1 year of Pulmonology experience
  • 2 years of NP work experience
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule.
  • Flexibility of traveling throughout the state(s) on a full-time basis

Tell me about the job duties (aka key responsibilities but not all encompassing)

  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
  • Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
  • Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests
  • Maintain complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.
  • Prescribe medications.
  • Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.
  • Onboarding providers
  • On-Call Coverage
  • Standardization, Compliance, Best Practice
  • Education for fellow providers, facilities, and/or patients and families
  • Assist with marketing and business development engagement
  • Assist with initial development and patient census with new partnerships
