We are looking for technicians that are experienced in fundamentals of injection and molding processes, knowledge with water cooling and air supply, and experience working with machine / robot sequence programming!Physical Duties / Requirements : All necessary job duties required to safely install molding equipment (see Mold Setter job description )Following of directions passed down from supervisor / managementAssist in samplings, continuous improvement, and other engineering projectsUse of hand tools and power tools to perform job functionOperating the injection molding machine controlsPrepare machine for productionSetting up robot positionsAdvanced setup of hot stamp machines, label applicators, in-mold labeling (IML) equipment, robot tooling, material dryers, blenders, color carts, vibratory welders, and cooling fixturesPerform quality checksDebug robot / machine sequence program issuesTroubleshoot various process related issues with products (i.

e., flash, burns, voids, warp)Troubleshoot various issues with auxiliary equipment, robot tooling, and molding componentsUse of a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical issuesMinor repairs on mold tooling (i.

replace fuses, clean strainers, etc.)Performing a line clearanceUse of purging compounds to cleanout the machine barrel and mold.
