KISx Card, LLC is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to assist with the daily customer service and scheduling of patients for our KISx Card and KIS Imaging programs. The primary roles of the Nurse Coordinator are to ensure exemplary customer service while interacting with the Nursing Team and coordinating the scheduling of exams for all requesting patients. The KISx Card and KIS Imaging programs provide participating members with the opportunity to schedule high-end radiology procedures including MRI, CT, and PET scans within a proprietary network of providers with little or no out-of-pocket expense to the employee. What You’ll Do:
- Educate incoming patients about the program benefits and processes (on telephone and via email)
- Collection of patient demographic, eligibility, and medical information
- Coordinate scheduling of patients
- Enter case notes within patient files and customer accounts
- Ensure every member has a positive experience when scheduling and/or interacting with the program
- Work closely with all facets of the business, primarily with clinical nurses and operational team members.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with imaging and surgical facilities to support the patients care and the company’s growth.
- Ensure providers and team members inquiries are handled effectively and timely.
- Proactively identify challenging situations and ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate escalation with our business partners.
- Attend departmental meetings and stay up to date on all business initiatives related to the clinic

EXPERIENCE
- Must have extensive customer service experience preferably in a healthcare setting.
- High School Degree, Associate, Bachelors or higher
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
- Must enjoy working in a team environment.
- Must be fluent with computers and able to adjust and work within the company specific scheduling software, Microsoft excel and other various applications.
