The Home Manager advances the mission of the agency by treating persons with mental health and developmental disabilities with dignity and respect; honoring their personal dreams, goals and choices; and encouraging consumers in the development of social and personal relationships, including access to social, cultural, educational, spiritual, political, leisure or work activities and opportunities available within the community.
The Home Manager promotes a positive work culture through the implementation of polices and procedures found in the agency personnel policy manuals; responsible for the management of personnel; provides leadership, direction, and supervision to home staff.

Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, with MHRT-1 and four (4) years' experience with persons with mental illness OR Bachelor's degree in human services or related field with MHRT-C/1 Certification and one (1) year experience with persons with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities
Other Qualifications:
- Must be twenty-one years of age or greater; in good physical and emotional health
- Must be a Motivated, Enthusiastic Individual, interested in working in a High-Energy home environment
- Interest in working with individuals with disabilities within a setting promoting independent living skills, community integration, normalization, and treatment of all persons with dignity and respect.
- Basic skills and experience in management/administration and operation of specialized residential facilities, youth transition programs, or background in housing
- Ability to complete and pass an Advanced Physical Intervention program used by the agency (NAPPI), CRMA and CPR/First Aid and all other training required per regulatory agencies for assigned program.
- Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
- Ability to lift, transfer, restrain and/or work directly with individuals served.
- Proficient with computer applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
Additional Requirements: Mon- Fri 24/5 on call; Must be willing to work weekend on call rotation every 7 weeks, some flexibility required.
Salary : $38,000 - $48,000
