Responsibilities
The role of the business development executive will be to develop business relationships and strategic partnerships on behalf of the a4 Advertising local sales teams in our Western region, with the focus on facilitating and driving ad sales revenue growth through all our product offerings.
Responsibilities- Assist in developing strategies with sales leaders to generate new and grow existing business advertising revenues across a4's local sales division in the Western region.
- Communicate and collaborate with sales management to identify market challenges and opportunities daily and weekly as needed.
- Help to develop new initiatives and strategies that will help maximize revenue.
- Set up and perform lunch and learn events, help to coordinate one day sales events and engage in other sales opportunities to generate and grow revenue for all local sales in the western regions as needed. Perform virtual learning events based on Covid-19 large group restrictions.
- Attend high level, opportunistic sales presentations to promote and educate clients and agencies about a4's capabilities and the value we provide to all relevant businesses through cross-screen advertising, utilizing our data and resources as a top tier data driven advertising business. Build confidence and credibility in the local marketplace as a media advertising expert within a highly competitive landscape.
- Attend various industry events, webinars & conferences to stay up to date with current industry trends, technology, and capabilities. Report findings back to main areas of a4 Advertising.
- Work as a liaison between sales, marketing, research/data & analytics, operations and product. In doing so, help to tie together all strategies to promote the assets a4 has available to offer.
- Help develop strategies to maximize all potential revenue opportunities available in our western region markets.
- Help to coordinate departmental efforts via product capabilities & advantages, industry research updates and trends, development and sharing of case studies for various verticals, sales enablement training opportunities and a4 operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in an advertising media sales organization
- Strong knowledge base of media industry technology, terminology and trends
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising tactics and methodology
- Experience with Connected TV (CTV), Over the Top TV (OTT), Addressable tactics, Audience based sales and transactions.
- Strong communication, presentation and development skills
- Ability to work with multiple sales teams and external clients in a fast paced and competitive environment
- Ability to collaborate with other departments within the organization to help maximize and implement effective sales strategies
- Microsoft Office Applications
