The Collections Coordinator I assists in a multi-product environment maximizing the external and internal customer experience by providing knowledge and support of moderate complexity in all areas of Collections including but not limited to: Phone Collection, Field Collections, Fraud, and CVT.
- Responsible for meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis. Responsible for performing all work related tasks in a manner that is compliant with all Altice USA policies and procedures
- Assist Sales Department and customers real-time on accounts flagged as Fraud to provide information and direction to enable sales process to proceed
- Assist Field Collector’s with general account maintenance, which includes, but is not limited to, removing converters, posting payments, appropriate account notation, performing account research, scheduling, routing, and completing tap cuts
- Performs evaluation and communication of moderate complexity in all aspects of IDA
- Process and document credit card and check by phone payments when applicable
- Perform any and all administrative tasks relating to the collection of outstanding monies by ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
- Inform other Departments of any and all issues that may extend beyond the purview of the position for the purpose of ensuring complete customer satisfaction
- Provide and assist with training of other/new team members
- Performs such duties as the supervisor and/or manager may from time to time deem necessary
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One to Two years plus cable experience including knowledge of billing system collection modules and order processing.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Collections and Company policies and procedures.
- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge and skills of computer software, utilizing windows based software (Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
