Altman Plants is a family-owned wholesale nursery company recognized for innovation, marketing, high quality products and creative sales programs. We are in partnership with several key retail customers supplying flowering and drought tolerant plants to their garden centers. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Completes and enters time off documents
  • Completing basic HR documentation/WC documents/Injury Reports
  • Process employee purchase orders
  • Prepares new hire packets
  • Assists in new hire orientation
  • Assisting employees with any questions/concerns
  • Assists in processing payroll in Pet Tiger
  • Daily production entry
  • Assists in weekly planting list creation
  • Prints UPC’s
  • Print and distribute planting list
  • Enter production numbers to Pet Tiger
  • Print timecards/job cards and distribute
  • Maintain production supply inventory/Ordering Supplies
  • Filing/Scanning Documents
  • Assist in other tasks as needed
  • Maintaining various spreadsheets from attendance to trainings
  • Setting up new vendor requests

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Strong sense of Team Work and Customer Service.

· Strong computer skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Exceptional organizational skills.

· Bilingual (Preferred)

· Be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

· Be open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace.

· Maintain Confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
