The Role You’ll Play
Are you an ambitious materials leader, ready to be a change agent for a large, high-volume manufacturing plant? As the Materials Manager for this specialty tire manufacturer in Jackson, TN, you'll lead the SIOP process and direct the strategy for the Materials teams. This facility needs a leader who can think critically to identify the constraints in the facility and then target and address those constraints with laser focus. Who You Are
- Accustomed to the complexity of managing materials, inventory, and operations in large manufacturing environments.
- Skilled at developing high-performing teams, having a proven track record of leading and mentoring direct reports in the past.
- Adept at data analysis and applying the right data to understand constraints at a macro level and create processes to tackle the biggest priorities for each value stream.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization, from the CEO to production teams on the floor.
- Comfortable planning and running plant-wide inventory annually and directing all of the personnel and resources necessary for accurate counts.
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty to drill down into root causes and drive operational efficiency upward across both value streams and the materials department.
