Individual Plans Specialist

We are looking for someone to assist our individual clients and prospects with finding suitable health insurance. A successful candidate will be a team player, manage deadlines, and is detail oriented and organized. Someone who finds satisfaction in helping others and who thirsts for variety in their responsibilities will thrive in this role.

Compensation: $40,000 to $50,000 annually based on experience and education level.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with individuals and families seeking health insurance
  • Assist clients with the enrollment process while helping them to understand their new benefits
  • Understand each client’s personal situation and present a suitable solution
  • Monitor compliance and government regulations
  • Work with various health insurance carriers and act as a liaison for clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years experience in an office setting
  • Health and Life Insurance Producer License or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication skills, actively listens, and professional telephone skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Trustworthy when dealing with confidential and private information
  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for assignments or tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
