Responsible for loading and unloading machines. Recognize and replace worn cutters or tool bits. Operate machines in order to run parts as necessary. Inspect machined parts, including first article inspection. Assure quality and production requirements are met as per job travelers. Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement. Participate in LEAN manufacturing and SPC activities as required. Maintain an acceptable attendance record. Follow and respect supervisors’ direction. Ensure quality parts to meet customers’ and APP’s requirements. Must supply own tools. Skill Requirements: Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time. Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace. In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person. English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension) Similar machining experience preferred. On-the-job training is provided for this position. Compensation: $20.25 - $26.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly pay we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.  This job would be a good fit for you if you have experience as a Machinist, Toolroom Machinist, Tool Maker, and Tooling Specialist.
