The position of Contract Manager reports to the Director of Contracts and functions as a contract manager performing all prime contract support functions and duties required.
Duties:
Prepare, negotiate and execute Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements where Alutiiq is in the role of subcontractor.
Assist and advise during the Bid and Proposal stage on all contractual issues related to a solicitation.
Timely review of assigned solicitations in Salesforce.
Review of awarded contracts for consistency with solicitation and Alutiiq proposal, route contracts for execution.
Enter all contracts and modifications into the Alutiiq Contract Management Database, timely maintenance of contract and task order records as required.
Submission of Task Order proposals to Contracting Officers, negotiation of modification terms and conditions.
Interpret directives from the customer, both internal and external, and provide direction, coordination, and monitoring for compliance with requirements.
Maintain professionalism & communicate clearly, effectively & diplomatically with company & customer personnel in a range of routine & sensitive/high pressure situations.
Interpret contract terms, assess business and legal risks to minimize risk of loss and liability, and communicate such as a liaison to legal department, risk management department, and operations.
Assist with resolution of contract non-conformance concerns.
Maintains communication with Contracting Officer and Contact Specialist for contract changes, compliance issues and reporting.
Execute modifications throughout life of the contract.
Monitor and document compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
Regulatory reporting (SAM, Limitation of Cost, Limitation of Funds, Anti Human Trafficking).
Coordinate contract closeout with Finance.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications/Skills:
Experience in all in all phases of contract administration from receipt of the request for proposal (RFP) through contract closeout.
Working knowledge of Government contracting laws and regulations, including FAR/DFARS, Service Contract Act and DCMA property requirements.
Experienced with all types of contracts to include IDIQ, FFP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF and T&M contracts.
Possess solid inter-personal skills and attention to detail is required.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline and 5-8 years of contract administration experience in government contracting; 10 years equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree.
Proficiency in MS Work and Excel required.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and sound analytical skills are required
