Duplicating Machine Operator

The Duplicating Facility Operator II shall meet the qualifications for that specialty and perform essentially the same functions, within the scope of acceptable for their technical professional discipline and standard, as those required by military and/or government service technical professionals of similar experience and in similar duty assignments.

  • Operate duplicating and bindery equipment according to manufacturers’ specifications and provide routine preventive maintenance.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or otherwise handle printed material, paper stock, and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • This position operates one or more photocopying, photographic, mimeograph and duplicating office machines to make copies of documents such as letters, reports, directives, manuals, articles and bulletins.
  • Additional responsibilities include operating small binding machines, performing clerical duties associated with the request for printing and photographic services, preparing assembly sheets, printing requisitions with specifications for printing and binding, recording, delivering and collecting work
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or its equivalent and equipment manufacturers' training.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of printing and/or duplicating in a digital environment with three years’ experience.
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiar with high speed copiers
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe and Microsoft applications
