POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The QA Tester position is a conduit between clients and the development team. This position plays a role in our identification of undocumented features and potential software risks. This position is encouraged to develop new processes and contribute to the improvement of existing policies.
•Conducts and documents requirements testing.
•Detects, logs and reports program bugs and glitches.
•Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors.
•Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts.
•Provides Level-I technical support to customers via help desk phone calls and emails.
•Serves as the conduit between the customer and the software development team.
•Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.
•Ensures issues are identified, tracked, and reported.
•Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
•Other related duties as assigned.
