Salary: The expected pay rate for this position is $80,000- $90,000 annually. The actual pay rate offered may vary on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications and/or location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES::
- Review product OEM documentation and specifications.
- Perform Equipment preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs when needed.
- Perform Equipment QA inspection to ensure proper maintenance has been performed by technicians.
- Research parts required to maintain/repair equipment.
- Responsible for reviewing daily time log of work done on equipment by technicians.
- Responsible for reviewing work documentation by technicians.
- Plan the work for the technicians based on maintenance schedules as well as based on failures and required repair.
- Maintain shop schedules, approve PTO requests and time cards.
- Maintain sufficient technical expertise to train and assist Technicians in trouble shooting and repairs.
- Maintain technical expertise to be able to consult/challenge OEM vendors on the issues being faced.
- Develop methods and systems to make the operation more efficient.
- General supervisory duties for discipline utilizing HR.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES::
- CIT: establish standards and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Maintain the currency with respect to technical skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses; seminars, exhibits and trade shows as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE::

- 2 years of related experience and a broad knowledge of the section and the operation of machines, equipment, and tools that will be used in the satisfactory performance of duties, preferred but not required.
- 2 years of Supervisory experience in a technical environment such as Maintenance shop or Factory setup.
- Experience working on Airport Ground Support Equipment, preferred but not required.
- Ability to use, read, and interprets drawings and measuring scale or tape proficiently.
- Ability to read and understand Electrical Schematics and Hydraulic schematics.
- Working knowledge of electrical trouble shooting, Hydraulics, Air Conditioning and Diesel Engine applications.
- Knowledge of PLC and Can-bus systems, preferred but not required.
- Certified to handle refrigerants per EPA 40 CFR 82 Subpart F prior to use – type 2 or universal, preferred but not required.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
