Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the preparation of district payroll and federal and state reports related to payroll deductions.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor Degree required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements relating to payroll issues and reports
Knowledge of auditing and accounting principles
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency skills in keyboarding and file maintenance
Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and wordprocessing
Ability to supervise personnel
Experience:
Five years payroll experience at a high level of responsibility
Two years supervisory experience over payroll function
Experience in school payroll operations, Kronos Management System, AESOP Attendance,
Finance Plus, MUNIS, Reporting Entity Portal (TRS) and Investment Products
Salary: Admin.Professional PG6/12 months
Starting: $81,84
