Always A Way (AAW) has job openings for positive, self-driven individuals that are passionate about assisting individuals living with mental health issues in Boise. The objective for this position is to connect participants to community resources and assist in skill building within the participant’s environment of choice while preventing transition to a higher level of care. Case Management and Community Based Rehabilitation (CBRS) services intend to help participants gain access to greater behavioral, medical, and/or social services when unable to do so independently.

CBRS workers assist clients in practicing what they learn in counseling in the real world, maximizing their independence. Experience and PRA certification is a plus, but we are MOST concerned with finding the perfect fit for our team of people who truly care and are willing to train.

Must have a bachelor's degree (ie Social sciences, psychology, social work, etc)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide one-on-one rehabilitation therapy with an assigned student(s) to include:
    • Training in behavior control
    • Social Skills
    • Communication skills
    • Appropriate interpersonal behavior
    • Symptom management
    • Coping skills
    • Cognitive communication/adaptive skills
    • Interpersonal behavior
    • Activities of daily living and independent learning skills
    • Provide strategies in designing planned interventions for challenging students.
  • Provide service for the progressive reduction of the effects of a mental health disability.
  • Provide student interventions in social skills training to improve communication skills and facilitate appropriate interpersonal behavior.
  • Assist in the development of behavior intervention plans
  • Teach and model positive social skills.
  • Modify interventions as needed (with team consensus)
  • Completes other duties as assigned.


Wages based on experience.
