Job Summary :
Always Best Care Senior Services - Orange County is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part Time Caregiver / CNA.
This individual will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living and personal care for our senior clients in Irvine, California.
The Caregiver / CNA will be responsible for ensuring the overall well-being and comfort of our clients.
Compensation & Benefits :
The Caregiver / CNA will be compensated at a rate of $18 to $20 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. In addition, they will also have access to paid training, flexible scheduling, monthly bonuses, and career development opportunities at Always Best Care Senior Services - Orange County.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and provide companionship to clients
- Maintain accurate documentation of client care and report any changes in client's condition to the Registered Nurse
- Follow the care plan created by the Registered Nurse and communicate any concerns or questions
- Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments, errands, and community activities
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients, promoting their independence and wellbeing
Requirements :
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
