ABOUT OUR FIRM
Time in Court
At a lot of firms, it may be years before you get a chance to do a trial. At our office, attorneys are provided the training and opportunities to gain valuable court time and trial experience right away. That is what each of our attorneys do. Each attorney is provided his own caseload and handles the case from start to finish, but we also work as a team and young attorneys will be mentored by our more senior attorneys.
Work/Life Balance
We recognize that our attorneys have a myriad of interest and responsibilities. We encourage our attorneys to serve the community, seek out their interest, and spend time with their families.
Regional Offices
Our firm is one of the largest indigent defenders in the state and we are constantly expanding. We have offices in Central and Northern California. Our attorneys are afforded the opportunity to move between offices. We strongly believe in promoting from within.
The Freedom to take Private Cases
As long as it doesn't conflict with our responsibilities as appointed counsel, attorneys are allowed to supplement their salary by accepting private cases outside the county.
