Front End Associate
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the front end of the store.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Scan and bag items for customers, ensuring proper handling and packaging.
- Assist with sanitizing and cleaning the front end area, including checkout lanes and customer service counters.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area if applicable.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change for customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations at the front end.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills to accurately handle cash transactions and calculate prices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Flexibility to work in different areas of the store, including the kitchen or dining area if required.
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
