Denied Party Screening (DPS) mission is to prevent denied party from transacting with Amazon businesses. We build automatic mechanisms to detect and prevent prohibited transactions with the denied party using a diverse set of algorithms and machine learning techniques.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical who will lead product roadmap, innovation and enhancements for our DPS products. You will use your technical background and experience to understand the product and software life cycle to drive teams towards business solutions. You will collaborate in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, and contribute to innovative solutions, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and meticulousness.
This position can be based in New York, NY or Seattle, WA.
Key job responsibilities
Own the product management responsibilities for multiple products that have a company-wide impact.
Work backwards from the customers and set multi-year product vision.
Establish product strategy, goals and investment plans.
Oversee product development, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, and launch efforts.
Work closely with engineering, design, Machine learning science, and Operations in an agile environment to deliver products to customer*
Influence stakeholders and senior leaders through strong written communication skills.
Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the customer needs versus technical constraints.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
