Job summary
AWS Global Segment and Audience Marketing team is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking and self-motivated individual to support two senior Marketing leaders. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills and proven experience in juggling multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. This candidate also has a constant pulse on the teams and can proactively develop and drive creative team morale building activities. The successful team player will have the ability to think and plan ahead, delegate responsibilities appropriately, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Key job responsibilities
Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
Acting as a liaison between senior marketing leaders and their direct reports and teams
Driving key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, supply ordering, morale events, off-sites, etc)
Attending key team meetings, tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
Own team communication cadence, logistics and material (including ghost writing)
Managing team organizational charts and group logistics
Travel coordination
Collaborate work with other assistants throughout the AWS Marketing and across the company
Willingness to take on periodic special projects to stretch your own skills and learn
