  • 15 years of IT consulting / management experience, with IT Transformation experience in customer-facing roles
  • Experience working with large multi-national organizations as either a Consulting Services lead, Client Partner, Account and / or Relationship Manager or similar
  • Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects
  • Ability to travel to client locations when required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

The ESM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers. The role includes all aspects of business development, relationship development, delivery oversight, and program management in those accounts.

Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer.

Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about :

  • Long-term development of Customer vision and strategy
  • Engaging with customers to understand their business drivers and customer portfolio
  • Identifying & developing specific opportunities and supporting business cases
  • Demand creation, deal shaping, including estimations and deal pricing
  • Identifying and positioning appropriate contracts for Opportunities
  • Contract negotiations & follow on for SOW signature
  • Identifying potential opportunity & delivery risks, and defining Mitigation plans for such risks & issues
  • Providing Executive Oversight for delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality delivery
  • Leading innovation and scoping workshops with Customers
  • Acting as a single point of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relations
  • Educating customers on AWS services and translating those into a clear business value proposition
  • Envisioning and inspiring customers
  • Coaching Customer and Partner teams to be self-sufficient.

Additional Qualifications :

  • Experience in Pre-Sales and / or Sales of Cloud-based Solutions
  • Experience with contract and statement of work development
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets
  • Experience with enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL)
  • Familiarity with State, Local Government, and Higher Education industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, SOC-1&2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GxP, and FDA

Compensation : Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
