Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced individual contributor for the role of Principal Market Insights Manager. In this position, you will be a crucial part of the Worldwide Marketing (WWM) team, driving business insights across marketing, sales and services teams. This unique opportunity is a member of a small team focused on researching industry analyst, developer, customer, and internal market data to create strategic market analyses and business recommendations. This team will derive and prioritize the most pertinent strategic insights to shape business strategy with measurable outcomes.

This role is perfect for someone with a proactive approach to complex tasks and projects, the ability to navigate dynamic challenges in a fast-paced environment, and the capability to independently prioritize activities to deliver results for our globally expanding business.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the global market place that AWS operates in, the ecosystem of partners and customers that drive business growth, strategy creation, and executive communications. Strong writing and project management skills are crucial for effective cross-functional collaboration and providing clear direction for the organization. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking about business, risks, challenges, and opportunities. Ownership, professionalism, and organizational skills are must-have qualities for success in this role.

Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities will extend to 1/ assisting with the collection and synthesis of many sources of market data, 2/ identification of emerging trends, competitive insights and market shifts, and 3/ delivery of Market Insights and Strategy recommendations to guide AWS business prioritization, investments and service creation. Collaboration with the Director of WW Market Insights and Marketing leadership team is essential to establish best practices, procedural rigor, operational and process improvement, and analytical insights.

AWS Marketing drives awareness and customer engagement with the goal of educating developers, IT and LOB professionals, startups, partners, and executive decision makers about AWS services and solutions, their benefits, and differentiation. We deliver content and activities to engage prospective and current customers with accurate, clear, and crisp messages that resonate with them in order to accelerate cloud adoption.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
