Job summary
Startups are an important customer segment for AWS, and a group who is on the leading edge of implementing new technologies. We are forming a new team at AWS to enable startup customers to innovate, experiment, and build with AWS technologies. The team requires innovators, disruptors, and problem solvers to deeply understand startup needs and how to create amazing experiences for them. We’re doing this by applying the principles that made Amazon great; especially Customer Obsession and Think Big. A critical need for this team from the start is a Principal Product Manager, so if you want to work with a team to break the cloud computing mold, think outside the box, and help startups succeed with AWS, this could be the challenge for you!
Working with the AWS Startup team as well as other stakeholders across the business, you will develop & execute processes to identify gaps and opportunities in the AWS product suite based on startup needs. You will uncover startup customer needs and pain points, and work cross-functionally to ideate and innovate. You will establish relationships with service leaders across the organization to understand their goals and evangelize startup needs. You will assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs as you drive product development. This is an opportunity to delight some of the most innovative companies in the world.
