DESCRIPTION
Work with a dynamic team of Business Intelligence Engineers as we innovate on the way the Quality Assurance group approaches their work.
You will help build the roadmap for the QA data science team. Using customer generated data from our games your team will develop visualizations, invest in internal tools and work with Quality Assurance partners to help develop the information they need to help root cause problems and as our data pipeline matures, help predict future customer behavior and/or defects.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Irvine, CA, USA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- 1 years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
