DESCRIPTION
AWS Worldwide Marketing team is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking and self-motivated individual to support VP Marketing. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. This candidate also has a constant pulse on the teams and can proactively develop and drive creative team morale building activities.
Key job responsibilities
Other key responsibilities include:
• Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
• Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
• Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
• Acting as a liaison between senior marketing leaders and their direct reports and teams
• Driving key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-teams meeting, supply ordering, morale events, off-sites, etc)
• Own team communication cadence, logistics and material
• Managing team organizational charts and group logistics
• Travel arrangement
• Collaborate work with other assistants throughout the AWS Marketing and across the rest of the company
• Willingness to take on periodic special projects to stretch your own skills and learn

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
