Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to join the Central FP&A team based in Bellevue/Seattle to own the overall financial consolidation, analysis and reporting of financial performance of North America Customer Fulfillment Operations. We are seeking individuals with strong finance skills coupled with sound business judgment and effective communication. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential to this role.
Key job responsibilities
- Financial reporting and consolidation for North America operational performance
- Coordinate planning or reporting processes partnering with various stakeholders across HQ and Field Finance
- Facilitate effective leadership reviews, manage communication with stakeholders and monitor closure of follow-up items
- Financial modeling, data mining and presentation support
- Manage data in financial systems and create insightful analysis to drive business improvement
- Manage database tools and reporting mechanisms
- Drive special projects to improve the overall FP&A function

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
- 5 years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3 years of finance experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
