Your focus will be owning and executing strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects for AGL Grocery Distribution Centers. This role requires robust understanding of under-the-roof fulfillment operations including inventory flows and fulfillment technologies. You will play a critical role in scoping large projects, communicating to senior leadership on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-functional team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role can be based out of Seattle, New York, Virginia, or Nashville.

The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Responsibilities Include
- Define a vision and strategic framework for under-the-roof DC operations, including “working backwards” documents on products and features
- Thinking creatively about how technology can enable a better cost structure, lower overhead, and better engagement.
- Gathering and analyzing data across business functions to establish global standards for and product distribution
- Managing cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes
- Innovate to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our distribution network
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field or 2 years Amazon experience in a related role
- 2 years of experience in product or program management, owning and driving end-to-end product requirements
- Proven track record of delivering initiatives from conception through completion of large-scale operational or technical projects
- Ability to seamlessly work across functional and organizational boundaries, and has a reputation for influencing others and earning trust across levels and organizations
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use to manage metrics, drive feature prioritization, and implement cases
- Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements
- MBA or equivalent degree
- Experience leading initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders (design, engineering, usability, content development)
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
- Experience in software product management, including software platform roadmaps across multiple technology teams
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desire
- History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
