Ring is seeking a Product Manager to join our hardware team. As a senior product leader, you will work on innovative products for our customers.
You're an experienced product leader with a solid technical background and deep technical expertise in the consumer electronics industry. You're an accountable, hands-on problem-solver with a positive attitude and a natural collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally and considering the latest technology with engineers, user experience with designers, positioning with product marketers, metrics with finance and marketing, and strategy with executive leadership. You have proven analytical capabilities, strong persuasive writing skills, and broad business experience. Additionally, you must be capable of sorting through many competing priorities, executing with precision, and succeeding in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define the business strategy and vision for products.
- Drive hardware product development from conceptualization through launch with cross-functional teams – creating and managing actionable plans, work streams, tactics, and measurable success criteria.
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs with customer experience, performance, profitability, and operational support load, collaborating with technology teams, UX teams, and other stakeholders.
- Solve ambiguous problems as well as proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
- Partner with UX and Research teams to define good outcomes for qualitative testing, ensuring we are building the right experience for a range of customers.
- Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out improved mechanisms for visibility, ensuring your program stays aligned with organization objectives.
- Garner buy-in of products and the larger vision with both internal and external stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters in either Technical/Engineering discipline and/or MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
