The Worldwide Grocery Stores team is seeking an experienced Sr. Transaction Manager to support third-party partnerships for roll-out within Amazon and Whole Foods Market physical stores. Primary responsibilities are identifying, evaluating, negotiating and managing partnerships that improve the overall customer experience of our stores. The ideal candidate is a creative, outside the box thinker who can develop strategies for in-store offerings that make customers lives better. This involves solving complex problems, engaging and negotiating deals with other retailers and service providers, putting together a wide variety of cross-functional teams and effectively managing overall timelines and budgets.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage in-store partnerships that are a strategic fit for various Amazon and Whole Foods Market physical store concepts.
• Evaluate the economic and strategic cost-benefit of in-store partnerships.
• Lead a group of cross-functional teams required to bring these partnerships to life.
• Lead project management of deal lifecycle from initial identification of 3P to build-out of 3P spaces.
• Develop reporting and metrics to measure overall success of the programs and report out to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Communicate any project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of professional experience in real estate, business development, finance or strategic planning role.
• 7 years’ experience negotiating real estate and/or third-party partnership agreements. Strong understanding of specialty leasing and/or third-party partnership deal structures and legal agreements.
• End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing in-store partnership programs and/or specialty leasing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and across multiple businesses.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong business writing skills with the ability to communicate information and updates in a clear and concise manner.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
