In alignment with this bold corporate goal, Amazon Robotics is hiring a Sustainability Business Analyst to manage data about our products, ingest data from our suppliers, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, and perform analysis on our carbon footprint. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who's passionate about sustainability, managing data and tools, analyzing trends, and recommending and implementing process improvements.
Key job responsibilities
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
- Collaborate with IT resources to develop a tool to retrieve required information from suppliers
- Lead projects with analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions.
- Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
- Monitor and report on existing metrics and develop new metrics as required.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc.
- Support automation of business processes to allow the team scale.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in financial/business analysis
- 2 years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with Tableau
- Experience using very large datasets
- Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
