POSITION: Host
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
HOURS: Part Time, days, evenings, weekends & holidays
COMPENSATION: $12.00 per hour
ABOUT THE POSITION
- Reports to the Food & Beverage Director and Premium Experience Coordinator.
- The host position is a frontline customer service role providing seamless guest experiences to VIP and premium seating patrons. Hosts work as part of the Food & Beverage team to ensure patrons enjoy premium seating and lounge experiences.
- Part Time with the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, some extended shifts
- COVID vaccination and a commitment to COVID-safe practices are required.
PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS
- The Majestic Theatre (92 years) and Charline McCombs Empire Theatre (107 years) are two of San Antonio’s beloved landmarks, located in the heart of Downtown.
- Attends pre-show meetings for event specifics and procedures.
- Checks-in and greets patrons who have purchased lounge access and/or premium seating.
- Maintains working knowledge of premium experiences offered and describe the amenities included with each.
- Actively sells day-of lounge access for select performances.
- Provides accurate event information to patrons (i.e., event details, general building knowledge, locations of restrooms & concessions).
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
- Minimum 1 year Customer Service, Hospitality, or Restaurant experience preferred.
- Friendly, personable, excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- TABC & Food Handler Certification preferred.
