Job Title: Registered Nurse-Psych-Psychiatric

Work Address: Mason City, IA

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift time : 19:00-07:30 ( Night shift)

Days : Su, Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa

Duties:

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in mental or physical health
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements:

- Valid RN license with psychiatric specialty certification
- Experience in long-term care or memory care settings preferred
- Proficiency in medical documentation and knowledge of ICD-9 coding
- Ability to perform medical procedures such as spinal taps and administer botulinum toxin treatments
- Physical ability to lift and move patients when necessary
- Strong anatomy knowledge and familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,300.00 per week
