Help desk support specialist

Compensation : $23 - $27 per hour. You are eligible to a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 5% of your annual earnings, terms and conditions apply.

Help Desk Support Specialist II Onsite, Aliso Viejo, CA

Shift : 8am-4 : 30pm pst, M-F

The Help Desk Support Specialist II main duty is end user support, which includes but is not limited to answering phones, triaging break fixes as needed, while giving outstanding customer support.

Essential Functions

• Respond to customer email messages and tickets requesting help.
• Resolves inquiry by researching documentation and providing answers
• Answering support calls that come into the Helpdesk through our support line. Ensure all phone calls are logged into the ticketing system.

Participating in after hours on call rotation.

• Provides escalation point for Help Desk Support Specialist level I staff
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing inquiry and service trends
• Document and escalate problems as necessary.
• Train end users in computer and application usage.
• Places service calls as needed, e.g. Konica, Dell, Cisco
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Ability to answer phones and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Mac IOS.
• Excellent customer Service
• One year experience in an IT-related field required
