We are seeking a dedicated individual who will play a pivotal role in managing our purhasing activities and ensuring optimal inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attntion to detail, and a proactive approach t managing inventory levels effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the procurement process for pharmaceutical supplies and equipment
- Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure competitive pricing
- Monitoring inventory levels and implementing strategies to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory
- Conducting regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement
- Working closely with pharmacy staff to fulfill medication orders in a timely manner
Skills:
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, or pharmacy operations
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
