We are revolutionizing the delivery of healthcare and we need an Auto Claims Administrator to join us. Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager, Risk, the Auto Claims Administrator immediately notifies internal (Fleet/Department Leaders/Risk) and external (insurance brokers/carriers) of new auto claims. Leads the investigation/management of roadside incidents. Ensure all incidents are appropriately added to the NinthBrain reporting system. Opens new auto claims on the carrier’s incident portal. Works with Fleet to shepherd open claims through the claims process from end-to-end and carefully tracks progress Contacts parties involved in roadside incidents to discuss repairs and settlements Completes vehicle estimates up to $3,000 and recommends repair and settlement options Works with Risk to assist Legal with litigation requirements. Ensures timely reporting of data and follow-up of all claims with insurance carriers and regulatory agencies. Provides the Manager, Risk, with incident trending data to aid in reducing accidents and improve safety. Maintains and further develops a working knowledge of insurance regulations and applicable state/federal statutes. Prepares insurance reports and presentations, as necessary. Assists with various research projects and/or other special projects/tasks, as assigned by Management. Qualifications: Required 2-3 years’ hands-on experience managing auto claims Knowledge of auto insurance, OSHA standards, and regulatory requirements Position is based in New York City Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent. Qualifications: Desired Bilingual: English/Spanish Experience operating in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment General Skills Excellent interpersonal, influencing, verbal and written communication skills at all levels throughout a multi-tiered, multi-cultured workplace. Ability to train others in a classroom setting or at onsite locations. Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects concurrently in a deadline-centric environment.
