WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Responsible for all aspects of the plant accounting and financial functions in compliance with US GAAP and Amcor Internal Control policies.
- Ownership of Plant Income Statement, monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and explanations of actual results versus the financial estimates.
- Analyze operating and financial results, identify trends and activities to support effective business decisions.
- Key business partnership role and challenge plant leadership to drive performance through engagement, collaboration and encouragement.
- Communicate and interact with all levels of the organization through regular presentations to Plant Management and Business Unit Management
- Act as a significant contributor to Site/Business Unit commercial excellence utilizing profitability analysis tools and providing strategic guidance on customer profit performance and trends.
- Training and development of the financial understanding of the plant leadership team
- Balance sheet analysis and reconciliation for key accounts
- Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities, promoting an environment where each employee makes safety their priority.
- The Plant Controller reports to the Business Unit Controller within the Finance organization and will business partner with the Plant Management team. Daily and month-end activities are supported by the Shared Services group and corporate Finance teams.
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Experience -Manufacturing experience a must, leadership experience preferred
- Superior analytical and communication skills
