Job Description
The responsibility of the Die Cut Operator position is to produce lid stock in a safe and efficient manner, according to the daily production schedule and client specifications.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Operates die cut machine and performs basic operator preventative maintenance to machines and/or tools;
Stages, checks, and inspects material received from prior operations to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications;
Keeps die cut parts in registration and completing quality forms;
Performs basic operator preventative maintenance to machines;
Follow safe operating procedures, comply with safety rules, and wear personal protective equipment as specified;
Observe time recording procedures related to time cards, production sheets, and entry of data to terminal for the utilization program;
Perform tasks within acceptable limits for quality, quantity, sanitation, and timeliness of completion, paying particular attention to prevent and eliminate costly errors;
Complying with Company policies, sanitation guidelines and good manufacturing practices related to neatness, product cleanliness and personal hygiene and performing other duties as assigned;
The position requires an employee to stand and walk for an extended period of time. Exposure to moderate noise levels and potential hazardous materials. Must be able to lift a maximum of 55 lbs. and must adhere to PPE and GMP requirements. Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case by case basis.
WHAT WE VALUE
Ability to read, write, perform math computations, follow instructions and read a ruler to 16th’s;
Must possess strong working knowledge of machinery, and must be able to operate basic hand tools;
Basic computer skills;
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
