Job Description
MACHINE OPERATOR II – BLOW MOLDING
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate two-step blow mold machines in a safe manner and follow work instructions
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain preventative maintenance schedule, clean, maintain molds and machines
- Perform quality assurance testing requirements
- Track and communicate machine problems with leads and maintenance
- Construct gaylords/bins and operate hand jack to move product
- Maintain housekeeping standards
Consideration will be given to the following:
- Applicable work experience
- Demonstrated mechanical ability
- Attendance - A current attendance record with more than 5 points will be considered unsatisfactory for a department transfer
- Corrective action notices of a written warning level or higher in the previous 6 months
- Performance reviews and work history, including demonstrated proficiency in current manufacturing position.
