What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler Hiring Event position at Amcor?
Compensation starts out at $22.62/hour with overtime and premiums that add to that base rate. Increases every six months with performance reviews. Overtime available. Reach your six month period and receive $500 added to your paycheck, and an additional $1,000 at your one year mark.
Benefits start day one including health, dental and vision. Amcor will dollar for dollar match up to 8% to your 401k.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operate LP or Electric Forklift (must qualify under MON License Requirements)
2. Transport material as needed within the various production, WIP & FG Areas.
3. Load and unload trailers, when necessary
4. Collect and load appropriate scrap into trailers for resale
5. Fill in as necessary in other areas of the plant.
6. Fulfill all duties given them by the Shift Supervisor, and Operations Manager.
7. Keep plant dumpsters emptied.
8. Stretchwrap pallets for Finished Goods and WIP
9. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area in and around the inventory storage area
10. Use safe behavior in all aspects of position
